Locate your files
Local Data settings show the data root and let you open the folder or copy its path.
Switch libraries
Choose another library using the library-switching control.
Back up the whole library
Keep the database, assets and supporting files together instead of transferring only part of the folder.
Getting started in the app
- Check the current library location in Local Data settings.
- Fully quit Knora One before copying the complete library folder.
- On the other device, ensure all files are downloaded locally before opening that library.
Scope and limitations
There is no built-in cloud sync, database merge or live collaboration. Never open the same library on multiple devices at once. Disable on-demand downloads in third-party sync tools.
These are desktop app features. The website does not open or edit your local library. Available controls depend on your installed version.
